On May 17, 2022, we are pleased to announce that the Andrew Budraitis Foundation, a component fund of the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity, awards its’ first 2022 Lehigh Valley Veteran’s Scholarship. Our 2022 Fall award recipient is Gregory Seltzer, a United States Marine Corps veteran. Gregory will receive a $7500 scholarship towards his degree at DeSales University.
The foundation awards annual scholarships to Lehigh Valley veterans and Lehigh Valley high school graduates, with priority given to those with financial need. This scholarship is established in memory of Andrew Budraitis, a veteran and lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley who valued advanced education and is intended to pay tribute to him, while serving our local community.
Our application window for the Lehigh Valley Veteran’s and High School Scholarships will open again March 1st, 2023.
