“There are many incidents that have sparked my interest in medicine particularly in the nursing field. The most prominent of these incidents would be my experience as a patient advocate in a hospital as a volunteer. As I shadowed the nurse and worked as a patient advocate in the hospital, I got the opportunity to learn new things, grow as an individual, and help patients.
With these experiences, I began to understand the role(s) of nurses. They are patient advocates, helpers, and serve as emotional and physical support systems for patients. I understand that being a nurse can be physically and emotionally challenging; however, I am excited to work in a field where new advancements and developments can be made.” says Pangmenyi.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the applicants who demonstrated their passion and dedication through their impressive applications. The selection process was highly competitive, and each applicant showcased remarkable abilities and potential.
Thank you to our generous donors and supporters, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your invaluable contributions.
