Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania – Jun 26, 2023: We are delighted to announce Daniel Muehlemann, a veteran Army medic, will be awarded a $7500 scholarship towards his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program at DeSales University.

“As a veteran Army medic, I am a very service driven individual. I have seen first-hand the impact a proactive medical provider can have on his patients. Not only in terms of providing medical treatment but in inspiring morale and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices physically and emotionally. This is the kind of Physician Assistant I aspire to be and provide my patients with more than answers to simple healthcare concerns.” says Muehlemann.

Prior to enrolling into PA school, Muehlemann served 4 years as a U.S Army medic. Daniel’s long-term career goal is to become a PA-C and attend either an Emergency Medicine or Orthopedic Medicine fellowship to become an expert in his field. When finished with his education, he would like to return to military service, this time as a PA so he can provide soldiers with exceptional healthcare and be a mentor for the next generation of Soldiers and train them to be highly successful first-line providers.

“Daniel has demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community. We are proud to support his educational pursuits.” says Brian Budraitis, co-founder of Andrew Budraitis Foundation.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the applicants who demonstrated their passion and dedication through their impressive applications. The selection process was highly competitive, and each applicant showcased remarkable abilities and potential.

Thank you to our generous donors and supporters, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your invaluable contributions.
