Alyssa Budraitis
Co-founder

Alyssa is the Founder and Owner of Beautiful Linens, and Portal of Hope, LLC. With over 26 years of broad experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry, Alyssa previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. from 2015 through 2019. Prior to that, she served in an IT senior leadership and director-level capacity at Air Products since 2003. Alyssa worked for Air Products from 1996 through 2019, retiring to pursue her passion in the textile industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from DeSales University.

Alyssa is the wife of Andrew. Throughout their professional careers, both strongly valued education and mentoring, while influencing the growth and development of others.

Brian Budraitis
Co-founder

Brian holds a BA Degree in Criminal Justice that he earned from King’s College. With the exception of his 4 years in college, Brian is a lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley. He has been employed at the Northampton County Sheriff’s Department since 2007. While there, he has held numerous duty assignments, instructor, and supervisory roles. He currently holds the rank of lieutenant and commands the Field Services Division, overseeing the Criminal, Civil, and Field Operations Units.

Brian also coaches youth sports. On any weekend, you’ll find him at a soccer field with his wife, Laura, watching their boys, Dylan and Ben, take the field.

Brian is Andy’s only child. While he holds a lifetime of memories with Andy, Memorial Day clambakes and family boat adventures around Lake Seneca are perhaps his fondest.

Laura Budraitis
Co-founder

Laura is a Partner and the Vice President of Client Success at Altitude Marketing where she is responsible for client experience and retention. She works across departments to direct the implementation of strategic marketing services and ensure client satisfaction. She has worked in account management and customer service for 20 years. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from DeSales University.

Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, running, and walking the dog. She volunteers with the Greater Lehigh Valley Youth Athletics, Girls on the Run, and the D&L Heritage Half-Marathon Committee.

Karena Roman
MEMBER, SELECTION COMMITTEE

Karena has over 25 years of experience in the Customer Service and Human Capital Industries. Currently, she is a Manager within the Learning & Development division of Paychex, Inc. a Human Capital Management Company, where she directly oversees training efforts for multiple divisions including offshore, vendor, and subsidiary learning. She holds a AA Degree in Business Administration from Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Karena lives in New Tripoli, PA with her husband and two young children. When not working, she enjoys supporting her children, their academics, and activities.

Karena is a close friend of the Budraitis’ and was lucky enough to spend many years celebrating moments with Andy and his family, with some of the fondest memories at Lake Seneca, New York.

Joe Piotrowski
MEMBER, SELECTION COMMITTEE

Joe Piotrowski is the Director, IT Business Applications for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. He has been employed with Air products since 1998 serving in key leadership areas of Information Technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Ambassador University and a master’s degree in Ministry and Leadership from Missio Seminary.

Over the years Joe has actively volunteered at his local church in a number of capacities including Community Group Leader, Outreach Coordinator and rotational speaker.

Previous to Air Products, Joe served in the US Navy as a Reactor Operator on the USS Enterprise.

Joe currently lives in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania with his wife and school aged son and daughter and is very involved with their numerous extracurricular activities.

TJ Barron
MEMBER, SELECTION COMMITTEE

TJ is originally from the Lehigh Valley. He serves as a process improvement leader and analytics professional at PPL and is an adjunct professor in the Business and Economics Department at Moravian University.

He holds his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, MBA from DeSales University, Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt Certification through NC State University and is a Certified Project Management Professional through the Project Management Institute.

He is an avid outdoorsman where he spends most of his free time with his black lab,  Jaeger.
